DM Roads, through its parent company Downer and earlier subsidiaries, has been a  trusted provider of roads maintenance services in South Australia for over 20 years.  

Delivering asset management, routine and planned maintenance services as well as minor works projects for more than 8,600 kilometres of sealed and unsealed roads across has enabled us to develop a broad depth of knowledge and expertise.

ITS Maintenance  

DM Roads deliver state-wide ITS systems maintenance in South Australia on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport. The team is responsible for the maintenance of 646 traffic signals, 630 other crossings, 3384 ITS items and 31 Electronic road closure signs state-wide, as well as delivering cyclical inspections, fault response and rectification, incident support and renewals and upgrades based on data driven decisions. These zones cover a combined 8,900 kilometres of road spread across 40 local government areas.   

South Australian Roads Maintenance  

DM Roads is the trusted provider for the management of Metropolitan Adelaide and the Northern rural sealed road network in South Australia for the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. Our services include asset management, routine and planned maintenance, and minor works projects to create safe, efficient and reliable journeys for road users. 

DM Roads Adelaide Operations Support Centre (OSC) operates 24/7 and streamlines our response to issues across the road network. Our OSC team work closely with our customers, state traffic management centres and members of the public to identify, assign and respond to issues on the network more effectively.
