DM Roads Goldfields-Esperance Regional Trainees Matt Cracknell and Jakheen Coby have completed their Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Maintenance) in just 14 months.

The Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Maintenance) is a 24 month long course which equips students with the necessary skills to become qualified road construction and maintenance operators. This is a great achievement for the two young trainees and is a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the course.

Training supervisor, Ian Redstall commends Matt and Jakheens eagerness to learn.

“They [Matt and Jackheen] finished the qualification early due to their diligence to complete the theory assessments in their own time”

“Both students were enthusiastic and keen to learn. They both have(?) extensive vast prior knowledge due to their experience working on the job with their supervisors.”

DM Roads supervisors, Craig Levings and George Matiaha mentored the two trainees and are also deserving of recognition for helping the two men complete their studies so efficiently.. They provided varied opportunities for both students  to apply the practical elements of each unit in their qualification.

Matt and Jakheen have been offered full time roles as crew members with DM Roads working on the Rural Network Contract in Goldfields Esperance WA.

Well done to Matt and Jakheen!
